NYK to observe July as World Skill Day 7/15/2015 1:06:18 AM Early Times Report Jammu, July 14 :Skill development is the key priority area of Govt. and taken lot of initiatives to provide formal skill training to enhance productivity level, better paid jobs, self-employment opportunities, for youth and enable them to fulfill shortage of skilled workforce for success of Make in India mission and economic development of nation. Government had set target to impart skill development to 25 crore people in next 5 years. Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan in collaboration with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is going to observe World Skill Day on 15th of July 2015 in befitting manner at Youth Development Centre Lakhri (Block Billawar ) at 01.00 P.M. onwards. All unemployed youth are invited to participate and enroll themselves for getting skill development training free of cost. On occasion of World Skill Day 15th July, 2015, Prime Minister of India shall launch " Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana" & "Pradhan Mantri Skill Development Loan Yojana" and the same would be broadcast live at 04.00 P.M. and shall be shown to the public.
