Vijay-Sahil Pal of GHSS Gandhi Nagar wins U-19 chess title 8/8/2015 10:33:59 PM Jammu, Aug 8 : Vijay Kumar and Sahil Pal of Government Higher Secondary School Gandhi Nagar won the inter-school under-19 boys' chess tournament of Jammu district held under the banner of Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), here today. Second place secured by Suresh Sharma and Amit Singh of BSF School Paloura while Akash and Shabaz of Police Public School, Miran Sahib remained third. The chess event was officiated by Chander Kanta, Om Parkash (both ZPEO), Kamal Singh, Rajesh Bandral, Chander Shekhar and Ravinder Singh (PETs). Meanwhile, DYSS Jammu district has finalized dates for under-19 boys and girls competitions in various disciplines.
