Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 8: Facing severe criticism of the people of Jammu region for bartering their wishes and aspirations to remain in power, the egotistical BJP leaders are not indulged into cheap tactics to befool the masses. Ironically confusion of setting of AIIMS in Jammu is still persist among commoners but the BJP leaders, by abusing power, have flooded the city with hoardings to thanks the Union Government for sanctioning AIIMS in Jammu region. These hoarding comprising pictures of BJP ministers and state president Jugal Kishore Sharma along with Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, BJP national president Amit Shah and Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare J P Nadda. Most part of flooded with such hoarding to give an impression to the people that it was all due to the struggle of BJP that AIIMS was sanctioned in Jammu region.
But big question arise who will pay for these hoardings which have been erected all over the city? According to official sources single day cost of one hoarding on bride of the river Tawi is approximately between Rs 40,000 to Rs 50,000. Almost same is the cost of other hoardings which have been installed by the party in other areas of the city including Panama Chowk, Brigadier Rajinder Chowk, KC Crossing, Gole Market and many other areas of the city.
According to credible official sources BJP has to pay atleast Rs 5 lakh every for these hoardings but till is still a mysterious who will pay for these hoardings? Ironically on the one hand administration is adopting oppressive means to deprive ACC members of their democratic right but the on other BJP has given free hand to violate all norms and laws to befool the innocent people. The Dhanayad rally organised by the party was glaring example of the violation of Section 144 which has been imposed in the city. Party activists took out rally in those areas where this Section has been imposed but cops were helplessly watching violation of the rules. The same cops were very active in removing tents and other materials from the venue where ACC was staging peaceful dharna.
ACC president Abhinav Sharma has logical to alleged that the government was using section 144 of RPC to crush the ongoing movement for the establishment of AIIMS in Jammu. Because different yardsticks have been adopted for different people.
