| JAMMU, Aug 8 : Inter School district level U-19 competitions in the discipline of Carrom (Boys), gets underway at Indoor Hall M.A Stadium Jammu. Many Schools of the District are taking part in the competition. The tournament was being organised by the department of Youth Services & Sports as a part of Annual calendar of sports activates under the supervision of Sukhdev Raj Sharma, District Youth Services & Sports Officer, Jammu. The Result of the matches played today were as Vijay Kumar and Sahil Pal of Govt. GHSS Gandhi Nagar bagged 1st position where as Suresh Sharma and Amit Singh of BSF Paloura bagged 2nd position while Akash and Shabaz of Police Public School Miran Sahib remained at 3rd place. The matches were officiated by Chander Kanta, ZPEO , Om Parkash, ZPEO, Kamal Singh, Rajesh Bandral, Chander Shekhar and Ravinder Singh. Meanwhile the department of Youth Services and Sports District Jammu is going to organise Inter School District level competitions in the discipline of Badminton, Taekwondo, Rifle Shooting, Tennis Ball Cricket and Handball Boys and Girls U-19 category from 10th August to 13thAugust at M.A Stadium, DPS Jammu, Green Field Gandhi Nagar, Police line and Dogra Ground Jammu. |
