CM urged to hand over maintenance of Doda- Bhaderwah road to Pvt Agency | | | Early Times Report
Bhaderwah, Aug 8: Accusing the nodal agency General Reserve Engineering Force (GREF) for callous approach towards miseries of people in Bhaderwah, senior BJP leader and Sarpanch Shangri Panchayat Dawinder Singh Parihar today urged the Chief Minister of State Mufti Mohd Sayeed, R&B Minister, MoS R&B Sunil Sharma and MLA Bhaderwah to handover Bhaderwah Doda road to some private agency as GREF has failed to come to expectation of population living in this hilly district. While accusing the nodal agency General Reserve Engineering Force (GREF) for callous approach towards miseries of people in Bhaderwah even after the closure of Doda Bhaderwah road near Sanai from the last seven days, BJP leader Parihar stated, "GREF which is maintaining 30 KM Doda Bhaderwah road since last 25 years have failed to maintain it properly. He also accused the agency for using sub standard material in road construction projects making people to suffer badly. Alleging poor quality works and use of sub standard material by GREF, he demanded a detailed probe against the agency and works executed by it in recent past. Meanwhile Parihar also urged upon the state government which included Chief Minister of State, R&B Minister, MoS R&B Sunil Sharma and MLA Bhaderwah to handover Bhaderwah Doda road to some private agency and to open Bhaderwah Bani and Chamba road. |
