Jammu, Aug 8: With the recent terror attack in Udhampur and Gurdaspur, the Jammu and Kashmir Police, CRPF and other forces on Friday issued high alert.
Night security has heightened in the district of Rajouri, which is quite close to the border. All the highways have been installed with police posts and thorough checking is being done of every passing vehicle. "The security is very tight and this is a good move by the administration to curb any infiltration in Rajouri."
Since Rajouri is quite close to the border,installing such posts will be very helpful in stopping infiltration," said Ashok, a resident of Rajouri.
With Independence Day nearing and infiltration across the border on high, the high alert has been announced. |
