Suspended Cop allegedly hangs self 8/8/2015 11:01:54 PM Early Times Report Reasi, Aug 8: A selection grade constable who was presently under suspension today allegedly committed suicide by hanging self in barrack at District Police Lines (DPL) Reasi. Police said, "The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Fazal (belt no 412/RSI) s/o Mohammad Uzman of Sanei Poonch." Police said that Mohd Fazal was found hanging in barrack and after getting the information senior officials immediately rushed to the spot and shifted him to nearby hospital where he was declared as brought dead. Police sources said that after legal formalities, the body was handed over to family members for last rites. Meanwhile a family members on anonymity alleged that the deceased was being harassed regularly on the pretext of one or another by senior police officer in the district and deceased might took such an extreme step after alleged harassment from his seniors. When SSP Reasi, Sujit Kumar was contacted he denied the allegations of harassment and further added that Mohd Fazal was absent for last 700 days in an unauthorized manner and a departmental inquiry was pending against him in this regard.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
