Jammu, Aug 8: A large of CP Workers and daily wagers of PHE Department staged protest demonstration against government and demanded immediate release of their salary which is pending for the last 36 months at PHE office Dhountly Jammu.
As per press release, the employees assembled in front of PHE Office Dhountly and raised slogans in support of their demands. "We have not been paid for the last 36 months.
We warn that if Government fail to pay salary to the workers at the earliest the strike will be continued and water supply in Jammu will be stopped.
Others who spoke on the occasion included Bhanu Sambyal, Mohinder Antal, Swarn Kumar, Rahul Sharma, Nitish Anand, Vipan Kumar, Amit Chand and Ashu Kumar. |
