Arrangements for Haj pilgrims finalized in Kishtwar 8/9/2015 12:00:01 AM Early Times Report Kishtwar, Aug 8: District administration Kishtwar today finalized all the arrangements for the pilgrims proceeding on Haj on August 18 from here to Srinagar for onwards journey. A joint deputation of Peoples Democratic Party led by Member Legislative Council Firdous Tak and Muslim Welfare Association, led by Haji Ayaz Ahmed Dev, today met Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Javaid Khan to discuss the arrangements being made for the pilgrims, this year. The meetings discussed various issues and on the spot directions were issued, on the suggestions made by the deputation, to provide all facilities to the pilgrims. On the recommendation of the deputation the Deputy Commissioner agreed to depute a medical team alongwith Ambulance which will accompany the pilgrims upto Haj House Srinagar. It was observed that the practice of sanding the medical team upto Sinthan Top was not in accordance with the set norms and pilgrims were facing difficulties on the account. The MLC and DC immediately took up the matter with the Director Health, who passed directions that the medical team will accompany the pilgrims upto Haj House Srinagar instead of Sinthan Top, as was done previously.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
