Takia Tethar villagers demand repairs of damaged road
8/18/2015 11:15:33 PM
Early Times Report

Banihal, Aug 18: The villagers of Takia Tethar of Banihal have alleged that the local administration has failed to repair a road of two kilometer stretch which was washed away two month ago due to cloudburst.
Locals alleged that two months were on but despite the empty assurances by local administration and Rural Development Department nothing has been done to repair the road till date.
Pertinently, the stretch of two kilometer had already been constructed by the villagers themselves by contributing money and again they have started collecting money for the repair. They said that nearly one decade ago the department had constructed road but after constructing few meter stretch the project was left incomplete.
Local appealed the higher authorities of theRrural Development Department to initiate an inquiry for the embezzlement of funds from last more than one decade on the construction of this Takia Tethar link road.
