NIA issues sketches of Pak militants who assisted Naveed in Udhampur Attack | Duo could be hiding in South Kashmir | | Javaid Naikoo Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 18: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) investigating recent Udhampur attack of militants today issued sketches of two absconding militants who reportedly assisted o captured militant Muhammad Naveed in the attack. Captured militant Muhammad Naveed who went through a 'Polygraph Test' according to sources has indicted presence of both absconding militants in South Kashmir and both possibly are planning another terror Strike in near future in Jammu and Kashmir. NIA has declared the reward of Rs 5 lakh each for Zarghan alias Mohammed Bhai aged about 38-40 years and Abu Okasha aged about 17-18 years. NIA according to sources believes that both absconding militants assisted Muhammad Naveed who was caught alive by locals of the area when he tried to take them Hostage minutes after attacking a BSF convoy in Udhampur on August 5, 2015. South of Kashmir division according to details at present is considered hot bed of Militancy where according to sources militant outfits Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) and Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) are busily engaged in recruiting local youth and there is every possibility that both absconding militants of Pakistan are hiding anywhere in South Kashmir. To gather more information from Captured militant Naveed went through a Polygraph test on Monday. Sources said that Naveed utters misleading information during interrogation and has so far made many bewildering revelations about Udhampur terror strike and possible terror strikes of militants in Jammu and Kashmir. Pertinently on August 5, a BSF convoy was ambushed by militants at Jammu Srinagar National Highway in Udhampur district in which two BSF jawans were killed and 14 other personnel injured in the incident and in retaliation, one militant Mohammed Noman was killed while as Naveed was caught alive. |
