Accident victim succumbs, another sustains injuries 8/18/2015 11:16:04 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 18: A 65 year-old unidentified woman succumbed to injuries today after she was hit by motorcycle near Sidhra while another sustained injuries in another road mishap at Sidhra. Police sources said that today at 1.30 PM a bike bearing registration number PB35k hit one unidentified old lady near Sidhra bridge resulting severe injuries to the woman. The woman was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) where she succumbed during her treatment. A case under FIR No 174/15 under sections 279, 337 and 304A has been registered at Police Post Sidhra and further investigations are on. Meanwhile, another woman sustained injuries in collision between a tipper and a Wagon R Car at Sidhra area. The injured has been identified Mridu Khanna daughter of Sanjeev Khanna of Rehari colony. Police said that one tipper bearing registration number JKO2G-4781 collided with one Wagon R car bearing registration number JKO2BA-5507 this afternoon resulting serious injuries to Mridu. Police shifted the woman in ASCOMS Hospital and she was fit for statement. Both the drivers (tipper and Wagon R) fled away from the spot and their vehicles seized in Siddhra police post.
