Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 18: Continuing its anti encroachment drive to retrieve encroached JDA land, the Jammu Development Authority (JDA), the enforcement wing of Jammu Development Authority today removed 2 Pacca structures including one compound wall raised illegally in Khanpur and Jagti in Nagrota. According to official spokesperson, besides this 12 Nos temporary Khokhas in village Jagti, Nagrota and Khanpur, 10 Nos of banners/ obstructions which were creating hurdles in smooth traffic flowing are also removed by the enforcement wing of JDA in compliance to the directions of the Supreme Court. "The enforcement team as per the directions of Mubarik Singh, Vice Chairman, JDA under the supervision of Director Land Management S. Gurvinder Jeet Singh and comprising of Chief Khilafwarzi Officer S. Narinder Singh, KWO, Zone-B Pankaj Singh Sambyal and Girdhari Lal Pandita, Khilafwarzi Inspector in a day long anti-encroachment drive removed the encroachments and retrieved the JDA land from the trespassers, he said, adding, "Dalip Singh, SHO Police Station Nagrota extended full cooperation in removing the encroachment. Meanwhile Jammu Development Authority (JDA) has warned the general public, trespassers & habitual encroachers/ violators to desist from raising unauthorized constructions without proper permission from JDA in the local jurisdiction of JDA, otherwise strict action will be taken against the defaulter under law. |
