Youth makes abortive life bid 8/19/2015 12:01:57 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 18: A 30 year-old person allegdly attempted suicide by jumping into the River Tawi from the bridge but he survived. "The youth has been identified as Abhishek son of M L Mehta of Gandhi Nagar," Police said. Police said that Abhishek jumped into the River Tawi and his activity was noticed by some passersby who informed police. "After getting information from passersby, police immediately reached the spot and shifted the injured to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu, police said adding, "the reason behind extreme step of Abhishek could not be ascertained as he was unconscious when last reports came in."
