Jammu, Aug 18: Alleging the highly vindictive and avengeful approach of the ruling alliance in the state, Harsh Dev Singh JKNPP Chairman lambasted government for withdrawing the security cover of majority of the JKNPP leaders besides leaders of other opposition parties. Flaying the BJP in particular, Harsh Dev Singh alleged that the saffron leaders in furtherance of their evil designs and wicked machinations had conspired to deprive the Panthers leaders of their due security despite the security threat faced by them.
Singh pointed out that he had been receiving continuous threats from anti national and anti social elements who were persistently uttering menaces with threats to liquidate him but the government had failed to take cognizance despite his repeated complaints. They urged upon the Governor to call for complete details of protected persons, security provided, government vehicles provided, free fuel provided by police department in each case, curb the malpractices and address the security concerns of opposition leaders in a fair, transparent and justifiable manner. He said that the Panthers would also hold protest demonstrations against the coalition government for politicization of security apparatus and abuse of SRE by the ruling clique. |
