Jammu, Aug 18: Vishva Hindu Parishad patron Dr. Ramakant Dubey today has expressed shock over the ever increasing militant activities even outside the country targeting specifically Hindu shrines. According to press release, he said that ancient Brhamaji's temple in Bangkok, Thailand was targeted yesterday in which 27 people were killed and over 80 injured with God's grace the temple is not damaged but it was the target of the militants without any doubt. It is reported that to live bombs were implanted in the premises of the temple, which were later on diffused. The incident is an indicator that Hindu temples are not safe in an around our country. Dr. Dubey appealed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to take effective steps for the safety, upkeep, maintenance and protection of all Hindu shrines the world over especially those are in the neighbouring countries. The case of maintenance, protection is the responsibility of related government so the case may immediately be taken up with the Thailand Government. |
