Jammu, Sept 18 : Demanding continuation of their service, J&K Temporary Teachers held a protest demonstration at exhibition ground Jammu. Carrying banners, the protesting teachers raised slogans in support of their demand and urged state government to intervene into the matter for providing justice to them. While addressing the protesting teachers, president of the Association, Balwinder Singh Pawar, sought attention of the State Government towards the demand of temporary teachers and redressal of their grievance. Terming false assurances of Ministers, they gave two week time to the state government to resdresal their demands. They warned that the insensitive attitude of the authorities and frustration among the aggrieved teachers may force some of them to think of taking extreme step. |
