Slow investigation exposes Police-Political-Criminal nexus | Fugitive Sunny Baba case | | Early Times Report jammu, Sept 18: In the latest twist in the fugitive Sunny Baba's case, Police-Political-Criminal nexus has surfaced explicitly as police failed to arrest him despite the fact that he was seen in a temple in Samba district last week along with some youth. The pace of investigation is also very slow as they failed to establish the names of the doctors who admitted him in the Emergency ward of Government Medical College and Hospital for over 40 days. If sources are to be believed Bakshi Nagar police is being influenced by the Cabinet Minister as they still failed to fix role of the doctor on whose recommendations Sunny was admitted in the Government Medical College and Hospital. Sumit Choudhary, alias Sunny Baba who along with a paramedic managed to escape from the police custody 26 days ago allegedly had blessing of a sitting Cabinet Minister of ruling Government who is influencing all the agencies and managed his safe passage as the Cabinet Minister eyes on tender of Food Corporation of Indian (FCI). It is well known that Choudhary Naggar Singh had managed his hold on FCI tenders for last many years and after he was jailed some influential and affluent businessmen have managed their entry into the Naggar's trade. Now the Cabinet Minister who allegedly managed escape for Sunny baba has eye on the FCI tender and it is known fact that Sunny is lone witness in Supari case. Taking advantage of the fact, the Cabinet Minister blessed Sunny by facilitating his escape so that he can use Sunny for getting FCI tender in his kitty. Sources further said that role of a Head Constable Vikram Singh (suspended) is also under scanner who allegedly went home after some arguments with Sunny Baba on the night when he escaped from GMC without informing Police Post GMC. Sources further alleged that it could be his attempt to lower security of Sunny Baba. |
