ABVP organizes Road Safety awareness programme 9/18/2015 9:33:51 PM Early Times Report RAMBAN, Sept 18: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarathi Parishad (ABVP) unit Ramban in collaboration with Government Degree College (GDC) Ramban organized a Road Safety awareness programme, here today. Principal GDC Ramban Prof Yudhveer Singh was the chief guest on the occasion whereas Assistant Road Transport Officer (ARTO) Ramban Shammi Sharma, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Ramban Kumeshwar Puri and Organizing Secretary ABVP Jammu and Kashmir Pawan Sharma were the guest of honours besides Zonal Resource Person Ramban Pawan Kumar and Ramesh Sharma were also presided on the function. While welcoming the guest and students of college, Principal Singh stressed on the acute need of awareness among the young generation of the society especially the college students. He highlighted that students should follow the traffic norms to avoid any mishap. Addressing the gathering, ARTO Ramban said that public should know the rules of traffic and should the follow same.
