| 'Hindi Saptaha' concludes | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 18: The Hindi Saptha being celebrated by Mother's Pride & Joy Pre- primary School, concluded today. During the Saptha the children were acquainted with the Hindi language's importance and that knowing Hindi is equally important as English, as Hindi is our mother tongue and it is a reminder to the students that we must all celebrate Hindi and not forget the language. Hindi is being globally recognized and is the most sought after language after English and Chinese. Hindi was the language on School Campus for the saptha.
To mark Hindi Saptha celebrations, a series of competitions were organized throughout the week. The students competed with each other by displaying their command over Hindi in the Poetry Recitation and Storytelling. The kids were given certificates for outstanding performance on the basis of face expressions, pronunciation and props used. The school was abuzz with activities through the week. |
