AISF organizes 1st Distt Conference 9/18/2015 9:34:09 PM Early Times Report Kathua, Sept 18,2015: All India Students Federation (AISF) Distt Council Kathua organized its 1st District Conference at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park here today. State President Comrade Mukesh Parihar who was Chief Guest on the occasion preside over the Conference and State Council Member Uttma Rani, Pankaj Sharma, Manish Chandail and Ranbir Bandral were also present. State President Mukesh Parihar paid floral tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and RajGuru in the park and Uttma Rani stressed on the girls education and urged upon the girls students of the Distt to come forward to save education and raise voice against the exploitation. Addressing the Conference AISF State President Comrade Mukesh Parihar said "Education system in J&K is in transitional phase and is leading towards more privatization and commercialization which is a deep concern for any progressive organization and in these circumstances AISF has a greater role to play". He further said that the none of the College or School has proper accommodation, infrastructure and is suffering from staff crises. Comrade Parihar also criticized govt for increasing contractulism, adhocism and needbase policy year by year in the education Deptt. "Jammu University is implementing anti-students policy consistently and a strong bow to University authorities from student community is need of the hour and for this students have to come together to save the interests of student community" Mr Parihar added further Conference also elected its office bearers and Distt Council Members for Distt Kathua. Name of the newly elected office bearers were announced by Manish Chandail (StateCouncil Member) Besides the members of AISF Kathua, students from Govt Degree College Kathua, Govt Polytechnic Kathua and Govt ANMT School Kathua was also present.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
