Jammu, Sept 18: Youth Sports Services organized Inter-School Swimming Competition at Jodhamal Public School for Boys and Girls, for age group U-14, U-17 and U-19 years, at the Aqua (Swimming Pool) area.
Students from different schools all over Jammu, very enthusiastically competed with each other in different categories such as Breast Stroke, Butterfly Stroke, Back Strokes, Free Style etc.
Youth Sports Services in order to hone the swimming skills and develop sportsmanship amongst the competitors, set up the entire event. The swimming competition continued for three days and culminated with a lot many children winning the laurels and accolades for themselves and their schools.
The results of Jodhamal School are given below:-
U-14 Girls Individual Events - Sabha Jamwal Gold in 50m free style, 1 Silver in 100m free style - Vani 1 Silver each in 50m & 100m BreatStroke - Matangi Mahajan 1 Bronze in 50m Free style - Bhavya Bhushan 1 Bronze in 50m Breast Stroke.
U-14 Boys Individual Event -Dhariya Chowdhary3 Gold in 50m free style, 200m free style and 50m Butterfly stroke - Aarav Trehan1 Gold in 50m free style, 1 Silver in 100m free style - Samrat2 Gold in 50m & 100 m Breast Stroke - Daksh 1 Gold in 50m Back Stroke, 1 Silver in 100m Back Stroke - Shishir1 Bronze in 50m Breast Stroke.
U-17 Girls Individual Event - Ashmita 1 Silver in 200m free style, 1 Bronze in 200m Free Style U-14 Boys 4 x 100M Relay Medley Silver- Ashmit, Samrat, Daksh & Aarav in the Boys Category and Matangi, Bhavya, Sabha, Prabnoor in the Girls Category.
