| Aspiring teachers protest over delay in release of 'selection list' | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, Sept 18: Wearing black bands and armlets a large number of aspirants for teachers' post advertised for Udhampur District held a protest demonstration under the leadership of Balwant Singh Mankotia State President JKNPP here today.
Raising slogans demanding release of teacher selection list of Udhampur District, the protestors started protest march from Adarsh Colony and after passing through various markets of city culminated at Salathia Chowk Udhampur. They also blocked road at Slathia Chowk in support of their demand.
While addressing the gathering JKNPP State president Balwant Singh Mankotia who led the protest blamed the State Govt for deliberate delay in releasing the teachers list for which interview was conducted in September 2013. He said the selection list of almost all the district has been released in 2013 but aspirant of Udhampur district are still waiting for the release of same for last over two years.
Mankotia warned state govt and SSRB authorities as well if the teachers' selection list of Udhampur district is not released within one week, the JKNPP will force to Gearao the SSRB office.
