Bhaderwah, Sept 18: The students of semester III of Department of English organised a Freshers' Party "Aagaaz" for the new students of semester I. According to press release, Prof GM Bhat, Rector Bhaderwah Campus, was the Chief Guest of the function. Dr Subhash Chander, HoD English welcomed the new comers and the guests. Prof GM Bhat, promised full support to the students from the administration. Many cultural items were presented by the seniors and junior students.. Pallavi, Prakriti, Taniya,Aquib Students from MCA&IT department presented mesmerizing items to enthrall the audience. Bablu Sharma, Dr Kuljit Singh, Dr Umesh Choudhary were the judges for various titles. Mehak Gupta was selectedas Miss Fresher and the Best Performer of the day. Mehraj Tantrey, Gajen Singh, Qurrattul Ain Choudhary were elected Mr Fresher, Mr Evening, Miss Evening respectively. The proceedings were conducted by Ruby Tabassum, Meenakshi Kotwal, Shabeena Bano, MohdTariq, Farha and Neha. Dr Rakesh Sharma, Assistant Professor DoE English, presented the vote of thanks. SourabhShastri, Dr Neeraj Sharma, MohdAvais, Shayan Javeed, Amit Kumar, Amir Khan, Rashid, Muzaffar Hamid, Haris Riaz, Abrar Sheikh were also present. |
