Jammu, Sept 18 : As many as three Vaishno Devi pilgrims have died of cardiac arrest in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. One Mohinder Jahangir (60), resident of Alwar, Rajasthan, last night fell unconscious en route Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan, police here today said. They said he was rushed to a nearby hospital but declared brought dead. In another incident, a devotee namely Udhay Shanker, 68, resident of Nadia, West Bengal, died due to heart attack in Katrathe base camp of Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine. Another devotee, identified as Sanjay Thereja, resident of Faridabad, Haryana, suffered a chest pain while heading towards the Katra town near Agar Jitto at Katra -Reasi road. Police said as per doctors, all of them died due to cardiac failure while the bodies have been handed over to the family members after legal formalities |
