Minor sustains minor injury in accidental fire 9/18/2015 10:34:05 PM Early Times Report kishtwar, Sept 18 A 10 year old boy sustained minor injuries when the 303 Rifle of his father (working as Village Defense Committee -VDC) went off accidentally in Thakrie village of Kishtwar District. Confirming the incident, a senior police officer said that one Round of fire went off accidentally from 303 rifle of a VDC member namely as Surjere Kumar s/o Amar Nath of Thakrie in Kishtwar in which his son Anuj Kumar (10) had received minor injuries. He said that as per initial reports the father of minor (VDC member) was cleaning the weapon when the it went off accidently. He said fortunately fire resulted into a brushing injury to the child but police have taken cognizance in this regard.
