Awareness program on scholarships held 9/18/2015 10:34:23 PM Early Times Report kishtwar, Sept 18: District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO) Kishtwar Phulail Singh Bandral today organised an awareness program on various government run scholarship programs with the coordination of College authorities at Government Degree college Kishtwar where in the students were briefed about the various scholarships launched by the state and union government for the welfare of the students. The program was attended by senior Prof Shakeela Zarger ,Assistant professor Musarat Mattoo (co ordinator for scholarship schemes),other teaching faculty and college students. Speaking on this occasion, District Social Welfare Officer Kishtwar apprised the students regarding various scholarship schemes launched by government which include post matric scholarships for minorities/SC/ST/OBC and PHC categories. During the course of the program, various quaries were raised by the students which were cleared during the interactive session of the awareness program by the concern officer.
