JAMMU, Sept 18: A youth was allegedly assaulted by a group of miscreants and his mobile and money were also snatched at Sidhra, area here today.
Police said that the one complainant as Rohit Kumar of Dogra Hall was on his way to Narwal from Sidhra along with his friends.
"When they reached near ASCOMS Sidhra, one of his friends namely Chand Kumar insisted to stop there for some. Meantime, Chand Kumar under a conspiracy alongwith his friends allegedly assaulted Rohit and snatched his mobile phone and money, complainant said, adding, "after assaulting him they managed to escape from the spot."
The complainant has lodged a complaint in this regard with Police Post Sidhra and a case under relevant sections has been registered. |
