NHPC hosts 39th Annual General Meeting 9/23/2015 10:19:33 PM Agencies Faridabad, Sept 23: National Hydel Project Corporation (NHPC) Limited today hosted its 39th Annual general meeting (AGM) at Faridabad. According to press release, RST Sai, CMD, NHPC addressed the shareholders at the AGM and members of NHPC Board. R.S.T. Sai expressed his gratitude to all the shareholders for their contribution to the success of the company. He also highlighted the achievements made by NHPC during FY 2014-15 in spite of facing various challenges. While presenting the Company's Annual Report for the year ended 31st March 2015, R.S.T. Sai informed that the net profit of the company has increased from Rs. 978.79 crore in FY 2013-14 to Rs.2124.47 crores in FY 2014-15. The company has achieved sales realization of Rs. 5883.32 crores during FY 2014-15. He further added that the NHPC Board has recommended a final dividend of Re. 0.60 per share for the period. R.S.T. Sai also informed that the company has added 130 MW to its installed capacity during the year with the commencement of commercial operation of Unit IV of Parbati-III Power Station. Shri Sai informed about the formation of Subsidiary Company Bundelkhand Saur Urja Limited to implement 50 MW Solar Power Project in Uttar Pradesh. NHPC has also signed an agreement with Government of West Bengal and West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd. for development of four hydroelectric projects of total estimated capacity of 293 MW in Teesta basin.
