Employees of General Insurance hold protest demonstration 9/23/2015 10:27:15 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 23: The employees of General Insurance Public Sector Companies under the banner of Joint Forum Trade Unions with due support of NZIEA State Committee J&K had a massive demonstration all over the country during the lunch hour period. In Jammu also a massive demonstration was held in front of National Insurance Company Limited, Regional Office-Cell, Volga Complex, Canal Road, Jammu against the government for showing the non-seriousness towards the settlement of wage revision which is due from 01.08.2012 the employees have expressed their anguish and disappointment over the inordinate delay in settling the demand of wage revision and one more pension option. The joint demonstration was addressed by comrade Dileep Kaul, Standing Committee member All India ( AIIEA ) and State General Secretary of J&K State, Comrade P.K.Sood, President, INTUC Chandigarh Region Comrade Pawan Gupta NZIEA Divisional Secretary Srinagar Division and other leaders of Joint Forum of Trade Unions participated in the demonstration. While addressing the employees comrade Dileep Kaul said that in the last wage revision in PSGI took place on 01.08.2007 and 31.03.2012 witnessed impressive performance by the company in every aspect of their functioning despite a very difficult economic environment.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
