Urdu row: HC stays test for post of Naib-Tehsildar 9/23/2015 11:28:56 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 23: In a petition filed by Azhar Khan who challenged the Urdu Test for the post of Naib-Tehsildar, Justice Bansi Lal Bhat of J&K High Court Jammu Wing today after hearing Adv Abhinav Sharma stayed the test for the post of Naib Tehsildar. Justice Bansi Lal Bhat after hearing Adv Abhinav Sharma in length issued notice to State and Ors returnable within two weeks and in the meanwhile ordered that subject to other side and till next date before the Bench, test for the post of Naib Tehsildar in Revenue Dept is put on hold. Justice Bansi Lal Bhat while putting on the hold written test for the Naib Tehsildar also observed that the petitioner who is graduate in engineering and has applied for the post of Naib Tehsildar in response to the Advertsiment notice dated April 7, 2015 is aggrieved eligibility prescribed in terms of the notice dated July 31, 2015 which provides that descriptive test for Urdu subject only, which is also stated to be 10+2 standard.
