| Old habits die hard: Reinstated TSO still out of reach, office found locked | | |  Early Times Report
Sunderbani, Sept 23: At one hand the state government in a bid to bring accountability is busy in listing the deadwood in different departments on the other hand many black sheep like Tehsil Suplly Officer (TSO) Sunderbani are still enjoying privilege as majority of times his office is found locked resulting people to suffer.
Tehsil Food Supply Officer ( TSO) Sunderbani Kamlesh Kumar Sudan who was reinstated after his recent suspension for alleged dereliction in duties and complaints of unauthorized absence from duty still has not tried to mend his ways.
When news of his absence from duty alongwith locked office was published in some local dailies, the TSO Sunderbani even threatened the reporters of dire consequences in future. He even dared to say that such news items can't harm to him as he has enough links in higher ups.
Though he was placed under suspension but got reinstated due to his already boasted political and bureaucratic connections.
Immediately after his reinstating, he has once again started showing his true character and started to continue to his old routine and left his office locked putting visitors to feel the brunt.
A citizen journalist Pawan Sharma from Sunderbani said a large number of people were seen waiting out his office who had come there for one or the other works related to his office.
"Finding his office locked, the people approached Tehsildar Sunderbani Pankaj Sasan who had no knowledge of the absentee TSO, he said and added even the SDM was informed in this regard but all in vain. People alleged whenever there is a complaint about his absence, the said official come with a fake/forged duty slips by putting backdated tours to different food stores located in rural areas.
One of the media persons contacted DC Rajouri for his comments who assured strict against the erring official if found guilty. Meantime some reporters of area when contacted TSO, he started abusing and threatening them which some of them got recorded and desired to put the same infornt of higher officials for necessary action.
The people have demanded immediate transfer of Kamlesh Kumar TSO from Sunderbani so that they may not suffer any more. |
