Jammu, Oct 14: As a part of Swachh Bharat Mission, Rail Wheel Factory (RWF) today organized a walk-a-thon to create awareness amongst the residents of Railway Colony.
School children, Officers and Staff of RWF participated in large numbers.
A drawing/Painting Competition was organized for the students of KV/RWF in various categories and also for the employees of RWF .
Swachhta Pledge was administered to Officers and Staff by Sri. Pankaj Jain, General Manager. A Street Play conveying the message of 'Swachh Bharat Swasth Bharat' was well presented.
A seminar/workshop was organized in Conference Hall of Technical Training Centre which was chaired by GM/RWF, in which Shri. D. A. Subrahmanyam, Dy.CE, gave an exhaustive presentation on when and how the swachh Bharat Mission was started by Govt. of India and why was that so important. A short film was also screened that carried the message on Swachh Bharat Mission which was well received by the audience. The winners of drawing/painting competition which was held were awarded by Pankaj Jain, General Manager. |
