Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 14: The Judicial Magistrate 1st class Munsiff, Jammu has asked SSP Rajouri-Poonch to appear in person in the court for non-compliance of orders for investigation against a police officer and his sister for hatching a conspiracy to secure a government job.
The court ordered that SSP should appear in person in the court on October 20. The SSP allegedly has failed to investigate or lodge an FIR after delay of over 5 months. In the complaint it was alleged that both the accused have committed offence under sections 420, 467, 668, 471 and 120B of RPC but no action has been taken against them.
Documents in the possession of Early Times reveal that the complainant identified as Jatinder Singh son of Major Harnam Singh of Sainik Colony lodged a complaint against a woman (who happens to be his wife) and her brother on April 23 under receipt no. 3378 dated 23/4/2015 with police station Crime Branch Jammu.
The complainant alleged that woman and her brother were residents of Village Nownyal Nowshera, Rajouri and the woman got married to him on 17/06/1998 thus she ceased to be the resident of the said Village and became the resident of place where her husband belonged to.
"In the year 1999, J&K Service selection Board issued an advertisement vide notification no.01 of 99 which include post of teacher for district cadre Rajouri, since the woman got married to Jatinder Singh in 1998 due to which she ceased to be resident of district Rajouri but there being high competition in Jammu district, her brother who at that time was working as Sub-Inspector in J&K Executive Police Now (Inspector) hatched a conspiracy with her sister to submit the application without disclosing that she was married", reads complaint.
The complainant alleged that while submitting the application forms various documents were forged by both brother and sister. Woman played fraud with J&K SSRB and School Education Department and deprived the genuine candidate from being appointed, reads the complaint, a copy of which lies with Early Times.
It was also alleged in the complaint copy that the duo in connivance with the revenue official and other official of the department got the certificates and woman submitted affidavit at the time of joining that she is resident of Rajouri.
The complainant had lodged a written complaint with police station Crime Branch Jammu but neither the police have registered the case no any inquiry has been done as envisaged by the Court.
