JAMMU, Oct 14: After basketball and handball, the Sports Authority of India (SAI) has started its prestigious Day Boarding Scheme in the discipline of Table Tennis at Indoor Complex, M A Stadium, here.
And, to make a beginning in this direction, the SAI has instructed its already established Sports Training Centre (STC) at MA Stadium, here to conduct selection trials to pick up the best stuff for specialised training.
Subsequently, the incharge STC Jammu has invited interested boys and girls in the age group between 12 and 18 years, who have played at the state level and secured first and second positions.
The trials shall be conducted at Indoor Complex MA Stadium, here on October 19 and October 20 at 9 am. Those interested boys and girls have been advised to report the venue at given time in proper sports kit bringing along Date of Birth Certificate, Resident Proof, four passport size photograph and sports achievement certificates. |
