Jammu, Oct 14: In the fifth Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah (BGSB) students mathematical Conference 2015 organized by Department of Mathematics BGSBU, the students of Himalayan Degree College Rajouri and Himalayan Education Mission School Rajouri clinched top eight awards.
In all, 23 government and private colleges and school of Jammu Province participated in the conference. In presentation category Aalia Iqbal student of B.Sc-III of Himalayan Degree College Rajouri bagged 2nd prize in UG Category and Vedika Gupta, Muskan Farooq student of 12th class of Himalayan School clinched second prize in school category.
In written competition at college level Anil Bali student of B.Sc-III Sem of Himalayan Degree College Rajouri secured 2nd position and Kanav Raina, Muskan Farooq, Sakshi Sharma and Sadhvi Sharma student of 12th & 11th class of Himalayan School got first, second, third and fourth prize respectively. Mohammad Ishaq Registrar BGSBU & Prof. A.K. Koul Dean Academic Affairs presented mementoes and merit certificates to the winners. |
