BJP belies hopes of Jammu in Assembly session, says Harsh Dev
10/14/2015 11:29:38 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Oct 14: Maintaining that the myth of BJP's bravado has been completely busted and exposed in the Autumn session of Assembly in Srinagar, Harsh Dev Singh, Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) Chairman and Former Minister today asserted that the BJP Ministers and legislators proved to be mere paper tigers utterly failing to get even a single issue of Jammu region addressed or redressed despite their loud prouncements and haughty claims.
He said that the BJP Ministers who had given tall assurances to the people regarding roll back of service tax on Helicopter services to Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine, Issuance of Dogra Certificate to Jammu youth, revocation of the sacking order of AAG and DAG who defended Beef Ban in the court, removal of doubts on the issue of AIIMS, announcement of Smart City for Jammu, initiation of process for delimitation and settlement of issues of SPOs and VDCs etc utterly failed to live up to their promises. He said that the people of Jammu who expected something volcanic in the Assembly from legislators with regard to the said issues were utterly disappointed with the role of their leaders who turned out to be glacier. He regretted that while the PDP Ministers authoritatively declined to consider and rejected the core concerns of Jammuites, the BJP legislators failed to show any resistance and shamelessly submitted to the dictates of their powerful alliance partners. He further regretted that rather than admitting their failure to ensure the redressal of the genuine concerns of their electorates, the BJP leaders tried to galvanize themselves by their absurd arguments that they assaulted MLA Engineer Rashid in the assembly and in the process making a mockery of themselves.
