Kishtwar Oct 14: All J&K Diploma Engineer Association Kishtwar today observed one day pen down strike and held a strong protest under the presidentship of Mahesh Singh Badyal in support of their demands and submitted a memorandum to the government through Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar highlighting the demands for adoption of Punjab pattern for removing long stagnation in level of JE's, maintenance of 20% quota in promotion from AE to AEE and AEE to Executive Engineer should be maintained, restoration of entry level grade 5000 - 8000 to 6700 -10700, FTA be enhanced from Rs 30 per month to 5000 /month and restoration of grade - 1. Among the prominent leaders of the association who took part in today's protest include Fareed Ahmed (Vice President), Syed Ajaiz Ahmed, Irshad Ahmed Saroori, Naiz Ahmed, Abdul Gani Sheikh, Mohammad Aslam Qazi, Bashir Ahmed Mingnoo, Manoj Kumar, Kamal Nain Sharma, Tanveer Ahmed Butt, Indu Bushan Sharma, beside other engineers from various department also participated in the protest and threaten that in case the government fails to accept the long pending demands, the association will intensify it s agitation. |
