SAMBA, Oct 14:The shopkeepers and vendors have encroached upon most of the footpaths at various places here.
They have encroached the roads and the footpaths subjecting people to inconvenience.
In most of the areas including Link Road, National Highway, Border road and Main Bazar, the shopkeepers have encroached upon footpaths and road.
The problem gets compounded when people park their vehicles on the roads.
Encroachment is a big issue in Samba, but nobody is bothered to tackle it. "We experience difficulty while walking on the roads because footpaths and road are captured by the hawkers and shopkeepers", said Bua Ditta a Local resident.
There is no parking facility available in these areas and the shopkeepers and their customers have to park their vehicles on busy road, which also caused problem for common masses and they are forced to walk on the roads. |
