JAMMU, Oct 14: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) organized a student leader conference here today at Jammu University which was attended by large number of student leaders of the Jammu University while sizable number of research scholars were also present on the occasion. Student leaders from Kathua, Udhampur, Reasi, Rajouri, Poonch, Ramban, Kishtwar were also present in the conference. While addressing the conference, President Delhi University Students Union Satinder Awana said that Jammu University authorities displayed dictatorial attitude against the students.
Awana questioning the Vice-chancellor of the Jammu University said,"Why they are not given permission to student of JU for holding the Students Conference. Why the order of University closure was issued?" |
