BMO Mendhar inspects health Centres, suspends 3 paramedics

Poonch, Oct 14: The Block Medical Officer Mendhar Dr PA Khan today suspended three paramedics on dereliction of duty.
As per reports, BMO Mendhar Dr PA Khan under the direction of CMO Poonch today paid surprise visit to the Health Sub Center Uchhad Poonch and found Nitu Bala and Zahida Begam both Female Multipurpose Health Workers under National Health Rural Mission reaching health centrelate and without dress code.
"Taking disciplinary action against them, BMO Mendar imposed fine of Rs 1000 each for not following dress code and suspended them," sources said further adding that the services of Zahia Begam has been recommended for termination.
Besides, BMO Mendar inspected Sub District Hospital Mendar where he found a male multipurpose health worker Mohammad Afyaz on unauthorized absence from duty. BMO immediately took action and suspended him.
