Jammu, Oct 14: State Vigilance Organization, Jammu produced challan in case FIR No.15/2013 (trap case) u/s 5(1) (d) r/w section 4-A P.C. Act Svt. 2006 in the court of Special Judge Anti-Corruption, Jammu against Dinesh Singh S/O Shri Balwan Singh R/O Khor Deonia, Tehsil R.S Pura District Jammu the then Patwari Halqa Toph Sherkhania, Jammu.
Dinesh is facing trial for demanding and accepting illegal gratification of Rs.5000/- from the complainant Vijay Kumar S/O Dhamuli Ram R/O H. No 431, Sarwal Colony, Jammu. On 28-10-2013 the complainant Vijay Kumar lodged a written complaint in Vigilance Organization, Jammu alleging therein that the complainant is in need of Fard of his land for processing loan case and the above mentioned accused person is demanding Rs.5000/- for issuing revenue documents of his land in his favour. Accordingly, a trap was organized and during which Dinesh Singh Patwari was caught red handed while demanding and accepting Rs.5000/- from the complainant Vijay Kumar. The tainted money was recovered from the possession of accused Patwari Dinesh Singh which tested positive. After completion of the investigation necessary sanction for launching prosecution against the accused public servant Dinesh Singh was obtained from the government. Accordingly the challan has been produced against the accused person for judicial determination before Spl. Judge Anti Corruption Jammu today. The Challan was produced by Inspector Zafar Amin, who was Investigating Officer of the case. |
