NSF stages dharna at Raj Bhawan 11/2/2015 12:07:00 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 1: National Secular Forum vehemently flayed the JU administration for its utter failure to take care of the basic needs of the scholars living in Nehru Hostel of the University with the concerned management of the hostel responsible to manage the affairs there evincing recklessness attitude towards their duties. While addressing a press conference today, Nariander Singh General Secretary said that the scholars of the hostel are not getting the basic facilities of reading room and computer lab due to negligence of the management as the reading room and computer lab has been kept locked for the last over one year thereby depriving scholars of this basic facility. He said that 15 to 20 rooms in the hostel are subject of seepage during raing seasons and no repair work is being initiated adding that in the year 2013 bathrooms of the hostel were repaired with tyles and other furnishings but again they have started repairs of these bathrooms without any requirement as this is sheer wastage of money. He pointed out that instead of the renovation of bathrooms, there was dire need to install showers ,repair pipes etc which is nothing but unnecessary exercise to put the scholars in troubles.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
