JAMMU, Nov 1 : Seeking prosperity and peace, a jagran was organized by the volunteers of Ward no 11, Malhotra Mohalla. On the occasion, MLA Jammu East Rajesh Gupta was the chief guest, while as SHO City Police station Shakti Sharma and other prominent persons from social and political background were also present. The jagran commenced at 8 pm and conclude with Aarti at 5 am next morning, in which hundreds of devotees from various areas participated and took away the blessings of Goddess Ma Chandi for happy and prosperous life.
Various artists from Punjab and local were presented songs on Ma Chandi, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi and other God and Goddess. Skits based on life of Goddess Durga, Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati left the audience spell-bound. |
