JKABGB member extols Govt | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 1: People's Democratic Party leader and member J&K State Advisory Board for Gujjars and Bakerwals, Abdul Hamid Choudhary today said that the history is being repeated in the state with PDP-BJP alliance trying to give people a stable, transparent and accountable government in which people would get equal participation. Unlike past, the Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed is working to clear clouds of uncertainty only to restore confidence of people in the system. In a press statement, he said that poor governance during past regime had eroded faith of people in the system and dented all credible institutions adding that the sagging faith of the people is on the path of restoration with the administration being made totally accountable ensuring equitable development of all three regions. He said that Chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed's healing touch policy followed by advocacy of a meaningful dialogue and persuasion of battle of ideas are basis of dawning peace and stability in Jammu and Kashmir State, which people had been eagerly longing for since decades. Choudhary Hamid added that a serious approach is being adopted by the coalition towards people's issues which is why opposition is feeling uncomfortable and trying to misguide people. Seeking cooperation of people to support the development activities of the Govt on all the fronts, Choudhary Hamid said opposition which has failed to deliver when in power, is now trying to find a foothold which is an attempt in futility adding that the development graph of J&K State would come at par with other developed States of the country, he maintained. |
