Recruit Dental Surgeons through PSC: DSA-JK

Jammu, Nov 1: The Dental Surgeons Association Jammu Kashmir (DSA-JK) demanded the recruitment of dental surgeons through JK PSC in meeting held under the chairmanship of President DSA-JK Dr Asif Iqbal Chowdhary at Amphalla.
As per press release, President of association said that posts of dental surgeons are not advertised since 2008 which is point of concern. He further added that strength of unemployed Dental surgeons is more than 2500 and every year approximately 400 dental surgeons are adding up. On this occasion Dr Manoj Sharma Advisor DSA-JK said that post under central sponsored scheme like NHM are very limited.
He also highlighted other issues like banning of dental quackery by unqualified person which are harmful for patients as improper sterilization and lack of basic knowledge can spread disease like hepatitis, HIV and many other disease...Dental quacks are allowed to work only under supervision of qualified dentists. On this occasion Dr Muzamil khan Planning committee chairman said, we have very much hope from BJP-PDP coalition government.
