Jammu, Nov 1: Sports kits were distributed among youths and the occasion was also utilized for conduct of Police Public Meeting to strengthen the Police -Public relations and to bring people nearer to the Police for better output in prevention, detection of crime and solve the problems of general public, meeting on the directions of Uttam Chand, SSP Jammu was held by S. Randheer Singh SP Hqrs Jammu, alongwith S. Harjeet Singh SDPO RS Pura, Inspector Bushan Manhas , Border Police Post In-charges Baspur and Agrachak .
The meeting was attended by respectable persons of the area which included Sarpanchs, Panchs, Prominent citizens and youths of the areas Abdullian, Bera, Raipur Sajdah, Choga, Chandu Chak, Shamka, Hansu Chak, Baspur, Gopad Basti, Rangpur Malana. At the outset of the meeting, the participants were welcomed by the chairing Police officer S. Randheer Singh SP Headquarters Jammu, who appreciated the participants for sparing their valuable time to attend the meeting and requested them to put forth their genuine problems. Among them many persons put their view points and hardships being faced by the public residing in these border villages.
Various public issues and problems raised by the participants were discussed in the meeting pertaining to different departments. |
