Jan assails PDP-BJP for misleading people on developmental front 11/6/2015 11:54:31 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 6: Provincial Youth National Conference President and former MLA Poonch Ajaz Jan today expressed concern over the raging trend with the PDP-BJP Coalition Government over distorting the developmental initiatives in order to derive credit for something done by the previous Omar led Government in Jammu and Kashmir. In a statement issued here today, Jan referred to the proposed launch of Poonch Loran- Tangmarg Road in the district and said the project had been approved during the tenure of Omar Abdullah as Chief Minister in 2012-2013. "For the purpose even Rs 2 crore had been earmarked for alignment and forest clearance granted subsequently, he added. "Knowing well that development is a continued process, the PDP-BJP Coalition has been deliberately laying foundation plaques, which has been started from past several months, in order to mislead the people," he said and cautioned against this trend. "The coalition has nothing to offer to the people as it has been suffering from developmental inertia and therefore they are indulging in such unbecoming acts, he said.
