Municipal staff allegedly humiliated by some contractors 11/9/2015 10:40:56 PM Early Times Report Jammu Nov 9: Some contractors working with Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) allegedly resorted to slogan/shouting and manhandling the municipal staff while blaming for delay in payments. They also disturbed the normal functioning on Saturday by locking officers' rooms. According to a press statement from JMC officials, the said alleged behaviour on Saturday from certain elements has triggered a sense of fear among JMC officials and some even their duties on Monday but with an impression that such incident may not be repeated by the contractors. However the things reoccurred here today when some of the contractors allegedly resorted to use of unparliamentarily language against the officials/officers in presence of female staff. Here it needs mention that Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) is always intended to clear their payments from time to time after completing requisite formalities under rules, but incident like this is regrettable and highly condemnable and it is hoped that such incident shall not occur in future.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
