Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 3 : To enhance the vocabulary of the children and eliminate the stage fright a show and tell competition was organised by Toddlers' World, a unit of JK Public School, Kunjwani, Jammu for the students of Nursery. According to press release, 36 students participated in the competition with great enthusiasm and interest. The audiences were mesmerized by their performance. Anhad Sharma and Manan Mahajan were adjudged first. Parth Sahni and Himanish Dogra stood second and Adina A Paul, Mohina Thakur and Shreyansh Saini bagged the third position. Jaya J Paul, the Co-ordinator of the wing, stated that the purpose of holding such competitions was mainly to teach young learners the public speaking skill and help them gain confidence. She hoped to have more of such activities so which in future also will increase the vocabulary and speaking skill in children. In the end, she congratulated the participants for their excellent efforts and wished them well for their future. Meanwhile, Toddlers' World also organized Inter House Mathematics Quiz Competition in which students of Class-I took part. In the Competition, students of all four houses showed their talent by giving quick responses to the questions asked. The activity was monitored by Daljeet Kour, Pervinder Kour and Pawandeep Kour. |
